Firm roots of the "core" ideology in any corporate organization is fundamental to the progressive renewal states in which achievements of superiority can be realized. As quoted by Collins, J.C & Porras, J.I., "Core ideology defines the enduring character of an organization – a consistent identity that transcends product or market life cycles, technological breakthroughs, management fads, and individual leaders." With the passing of Steve Jobs, it is uncertain on how Apple will sustain its continuum of success as the leader of mobile technology. One thing is for sure, leadership styles influence and determine the past, present and the future of companies.
